We are dedicated to helping you
make the right investment.

METRO DETROIT'S
SOURCE
We are able to do something
very few music stores can do:
regularly stock a complete line
of musical instruments,
beginner to professional, from
the best manufacturers in the
world.  This, partnered with our
huge line of accessories,
music, lesson studios and
especially our world-renowned
in-house repair facilities make
Cameron's Music Metro
Detroit's #1 source for all your
musical instrument needs.
Cameron's Music, a case study in family owned and
operated businesses, was started in 1993 by
Ken
and Vivian Cameron.
Ken is widely regarded as one
of the best woodwind technicians in the country. He is
one of the most knowledgeable people around in
matters regarding new instruments, new instrument
technology and new instrument manufacturing
processes. His woodwind repair skills, honed over
the last thirty years, are unmatched in the industry.
Emily Johnston, Ken and Vivian's daughter, started
with us in 2000 and is now the Vice President for
product development and inventory manager.  Her
accessory knowledge is unequalled and her
professional relationships with all the major product
distributors means if we don't have it in the store
already, we can get it quicker than anyone else.
Joe Johnston, Emily's husband, is the brass
technician and web designer. He began with us in
1998 and his duties range from basic trumpet repair to
converting rotary trombone valves to Thayer valves and
even converting record albums to CD.  Joe has always
believed that if it relates to music, we can help you at
Cameron's.
Larry Celmer is our Director of Music Education. A
former professional baseball umpire, he has been
studying and playing music for over 40 years. Mr.
Celmer has taught in the Livonia area for 20 years,
and has been with Cameron's since our opening 15
years ago. He plays professionally with several local
bands. Mr. Celmer is currently a member of the
American Guild of Music and participates in yearly
